One of the darkest shows in the catalog, averaging 46 of 255, which turns out to be exactly right for a beat this sparse: there is somewhere for every 808 to land. The front turn signals lead with the signature bar answering, and the middle third carries the most. Four and a quarter minutes. Run it after full dark, because the whole design assumes the car starts from black, and it is the clearest demonstration in the library of why a darker show can read louder than a brighter one.
How this one is choreographed
This is a busy show. The lights re-fire about 0.9 times a second, near the top of what the catalog runs. The peak is in the middle third, where roughly 26% of the car is lit against 23% at the top, then it eases back for the finish. If you are filming, the fullest ten seconds start at 1:43, when about 33% of the car is lit at once. Most of the work falls on the front turn signals, re-firing about 1.3 times a second, with the signature light bar and daytime running lights answering back at 1.1. The work is split close to evenly between the two ends, 53% front to 47% rear, so it plays from either end, or side-on from the curb. The quietest part of the car is the inner main beams, at about 0.4 re-fires a second. It runs 4:15 and averages 46 of 255 across the light channels, a darker show that spends most of its time well below full, so the hits carry further. About 17% of the light values sit at a partial level, so hits are punctuated by fades rather than being pure on and off. The longest full blackout lasts 1.3 seconds, at 4:05, and that pause is what makes the next hit land.
