Get your wrap onto your Tesla

Two ways to do it: straight from the Tesla app (easiest, needs the 2026 Summer Update), or a USB drive for cars that have not received the update yet.

From the Tesla app

STEP 1

Save your wrap to your phone

After exporting in Wrap Studio, tap Save to phone. On iPhone, choose Save to Files (or keep it in Photos). On Android it lands in Downloads.

STEP 2

Open the Tesla app

Go to Creations, then Wrap, then Upload, and pick the PNG you just saved. You need Tesla app version 4.59.0 or newer, and your car needs the 2026 Summer Update.

STEP 3

Apply it on the car screen

In the car, open Toybox, then Paint Shop, then Wraps, and select your design. Swap or remove it any time; up to 10 custom wraps can be loaded at once.

No update yet? Use a USB drive

STEP 1

Copy the PNG to a USB drive

Create a folder named Wraps at the root of the drive (exFAT or FAT32) and put your PNG inside it.

STEP 2

Plug it into the car

Use a front USB or glovebox port, then open Toybox, then Paint Shop, then Wraps. Your design appears alongside the built-in wraps.

If the car does not accept the file, check:

✓It is a PNG (every Wrap Studio export is)

✓Between 512x512 and 1024x1024 pixels, under 1 MB (we enforce this automatically)

✓Simple filename: letters, numbers, spaces, dashes, underscores

✓Fewer than 10 custom wraps already loaded on the car

✓USB route: the folder is named exactly Wraps, at the root of an exFAT or FAT32 drive
