The Model Y has more wrap templates than any other Tesla: the original, the 2025+ refresh in base, Premium, and Performance trims, and the long-wheelbase Model Y L. They are not interchangeable. The side panel on the 2020-2024 sheet sits near the outer edge, while the 2025+ sheet moves it well inward, so a design cut for one lands on blank space on the other. Wrap Studio carries all five and designs against the one you pick.
Open Wrap Studio, freeEvery Model Y template, from the original through the 2025+ trims and Model Y L, is 1024 x 1024 pixels, and Wrap Studio exports at exactly that size. Tesla accepts PNG files up to 1024 x 1024 and under 1 MB; we handle the limits automatically.
Yes. Designing and exporting wraps is free; downloading your file takes a free account, which also saves your designs. Light shows are our paid product, wraps are not.
Save the PNG to your phone, then in the Tesla app go to Creations, then Wrap, then Upload (needs the 2026 Summer Update and app v4.59.0 or newer). Apply it on the car screen from Toybox, then Paint Shop. No update yet? A USB drive with a Wraps folder at the root works too.
No. Tesla's custom wraps are digital: they change how your Model Y appears on the touchscreen and in the Tesla app, not the physical paint. Swap or remove them any time.
